Who is our medication delivery service for ?
To all Quebecers with a fixed address. No post office box is accepted.
What is the benefit of ordering online ?
Our distribution service is ideal for patients who need medication on a regular basis. You will not have to go anywhere and wait in line in a pharmacy to get your medication. Allow 24 to 48 hours for delivery.
If I need to take a medecine the same day, is it possible ?
There is a delay of 24 to 48 hours for delivery. , It is possible at any time to present you in one of our two pharmacies located on the South Shore of Montreal to receive the services of the pharmacist directly on site.

If I need advise to take my medication, is it possible to talk to a pharmacist ?

What are the fees associated with the online pharmacy service ?
There are no fees associated with opening your account online or delivering your medications. Only the medications ordered will be charged to you according to your current insurance plan. Our fees are the same as those of our neighborhood pharmacies.
I have medication insurance. How do you deal with claims ?
We accept ALL valid insurance cards in Quebec. We will enter your details in your file and we will submit your claims directly to your insurer. Thus, you only pay your share, the co-insurance.
How can I request a modication in my file (new insurance, new address, new allergy, etc.) ?
At any time, you can communicate to inform our pharmacists of a change to your file. You can also consult the order online page and click on the SEND INSURANCE CARD button or SEND A PRESCRIPTION.
Do you accept returns ?
For a legal question and at the request of the Ordre des Pharmaciens du Québec, a pharmacy can not take back medication that has physically left the pharmacist’s control. In the case of a patient order error via its online file, we will unfortunately not resume or refund the item. Always be vigilant when confirming your shopping cart.
How can I send you a new prescription from my doctor ?
OPTION 1
You can ask your clinic to send it directly by fax to 450-356-1366.
(*** The fax remains the only mode of communication accepted by the Quebec Order of Pharmacists and the College of Physicians of Quebec for the sending of prescriptions other than in paper form.)
OPTION 2
You can use our secure section to post a photo of your PAPER prescription. Thereafter, upon receipt of your prescription, a pre-stamped envelope will be included in which you can return the PAPER version of this new prescription. You will receive your medicines faster that way.
Is Online Pharmacy safe ?
Your online file is confidential and secure. Only you have access to this information. The delivery of your medications is done using a reliable carrier that offers a tracking system packages.
PhRx is the first pharmacy in Quebec to obtain accreditation from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP). My prescriptions are in another pharmacy,s files. Can I order from you anyway ?
Yes, with Dossier Santé Québec (DSQ) and with your consent, our pharmacists have access to your entire file regardless of the pharmacy visited in the province of Quebec. Thus, our pharmacists will be able to transfer your file without having to communicate with your old pharmacy.
I want to transfert my prescriptions to your pharmacy. What should I do ?
By clicking on the order online button. Just follow the steps to register. We will take care of the file transfer.

can I renew my medication for several months at the time ?
In general, for chronic medications, 90-day renewals are acceptable. However, our pharmacists must ensure your health status in order to deliver your medication safely.
Are we aware of the delivery's status ?
Yes, you will receive an order confirmation email. The pharmacist can also add a note or comment.
I forgot to do my renewal and I need my medication as soon is possible ?
You can always call us or go to one of our two pharmacies in Boucherville or Varennes because your file is in two places at any time.
How can I manage a file of another family member ?
With the permission of the person, you can manage the file of another family member. Simply create your online file first and then your family member. Then click on ” Link another account ”. In the Accounts box to which I have access, click on ” Add ”. You will need the access infos when you create the account, but then you can manage everything from your account directly.
Can all medecines can be delivered ?
Yes, we will deliver all the necessary medications according to your file. You can also add some over-the-counter products to your order if needed.
What are the deadlines for opening a file an making a first order ?
It will take a delay of about a week if the procedures are done online. For security reasons, we must proceed with a series of steps to confirm your identity and your mailing address. On the other hand, know that it is possible to call directly in pharmacy for the pharmacist to identify you with some questions. We will be able to give you your access faster.
I would like to have my package delivered to my office. Is it possible ?
Yes, we deliver anywhere in Quebec at no cost.
If my delivery is deposited outside, are my medications at risk according to the temperature ?
We deliver your medications according to established standards. We also respect the cold chain if you have a medicine that needs to be kept between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius. A signature is may be required by the delivery person to confirm that the cold chain is preserved after receipt of the package. Naturally, understanding the temperature variations in Quebec from one season to the next, it is your responsibility to pick up your package as soon as possible.
How do I choose the delivery location ?
